Anna Lezhneva, wife of Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister K. Pawan Kalyan, emerging out of the temple of Lord Venkateswara after darshan in the early hours of Monday.

Deputy Chief Minister K. Pawan Kalyan’s wife K. Anna Lezhneva on Monday tonsured (shaved) her head and offered prayers at the temple of Lord Venkateswara here in fulfilment of her prayers after her son Mark Shankar escaped with minor injuries in a recent fire accident at a school in Singapore.

Mark Shankar had sustained minor burns on his hands and legs while attending a summer camp in the school on April 8 and fell sick after he reportedly inhaled smoke.

Ms. Anna Lezhneva reached the temple town late on Sunday night and offered her hair at the mini-kalyanakatta in the Padmavati area. She also signed a declaration form of faith, which was mandatory for people belonging to alien faith.

After an overnight stay, she took part in the Suprabhatam Seva and donated ₹17 lakh (one-day lunch expense) at the TTD’s Nitya Annadanam Complex.

Later, she served food to the visiting devotees at the free meal complex and also dined along with them.
